Marianne’s work at ZFA focuses primarily on custom residential projects. In this capacity, she consistently pleases clients with exquisite details, innovative truss designs, and an innate understanding of complex detailing configurations.  In addition, she brings specific expertise in the myriad details of reviewing and retrofitting existing structures utilizing ASCE 41, the national standard for evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings. She also focuses on ensuring the production of high-quality construction drawings through in-house QA/QC reviews and involvement in the maintenance and improvement of ZFA’s detailing standards.

    • Spearheads staff training initiatives and programs, including ongoing education for new building code provisions and drafting software and standards

As a LEED-certified professional, Marianne’s commitment to sustainability is evidenced by her appropriate use of alternative building methods, such as structural insulated panels (SIP) and other innovative wall systems, which she seamlessly integrates with other design components.
