This new multi-family housing project includes 48 condominium-style sustainably designed apartments. The housing is divided into eight affordable housing units and each is three-stories. There are two different configurations, 16 workforce units, and 24 market-rate units. There is also an 800-square-foot, two-story community building with a curved roof and steel moment frames at the front elevations of the upper and lower floors. Half of the buildings have a garage below the living space. Other features at this complex include covered carport structures and covered trash enclosures.
The buildings are constructed of light gage steel framing members configured for panelized construction of the roof, floors, and walls. Structural steel was only utilized when necessary for long spans or to limit framing depth. In addition to using eco-friendly building materials and finishes, solar panels were utilized to help contribute to the net- zero energy usage goal.
